Objective: Develop a cohesive visual narrative that honors Tesla’s legacy while maintaining balance, contrast, and harmony within a triadic color palette. The project required effectively combining digital illustration in Adobe Illustrator, layered visual effects in Photoshop for the panel series, and professional layout design in InDesign for the process book.
Challenges: Translating Tesla’s complex technological achievements into a visually engaging and accessible design was the main issue. It required balancing historical accuracy with modern aesthetics, ensuring the poster appealed to a contemporary audience while maintaining conceptual depth.
Outcome: Produced a striking and conceptually strong poster that symbolized Tesla’s contributions to technology through color use, symbolism, and composition. The accompanying process book demonstrated the creative journey, technical execution, and design rationale behind the final piece

Objective: To design a record vinyl cover inspired by a specific typographic era. I chose Constructivism as the design influence and re-imagined Louis Tomlinson’s album Faith in the Future through the lens of its bold geometry, dynamic composition, and expressive
typography. Utilized Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to execute the final design.
Challenges: The main challenge was to blend the historical aesthetic of Constructivist design with the modern tone and personality of Louis Tomlinson’s music. Achieving this balance required careful consideration of typography, color, and layout to ensure the cover
felt both authentic to the Constructivist era and relevant to contemporary audiences.
Outcome: Delivered a visually striking and conceptually cohesive vinyl cover that effectively merged Constructivist principles with modern music branding. The final design demonstrated strong typographic hierarchy, bold geometric structure, and creative integration of imagery that resulted in a compelling visual interpretation of the album Faith in the Future.

Objective: To design a visually compelling poster for the Houston Ballet Ensemble that emphasizes creative typography as the primary design element. The project explored scale, contrast, and composition through a step-by-step typographic design process, culminating
in a final poster that incorporated imagery and expressive type using Adobe Photoshop.
Challenges: The main challenge was to convey the elegance and motion of ballet using only typography in the early design stages, by being restricted to black and white colors and a limited 8px font size. Along the process, gradually scaling up required maintaining visual balance and rhythm while transitioning from minimalist typographic layouts to a full poster design that integrated imagery without losing typographic focus.
Outcome: Produced a refined and expressive poster that visually captured the artistry and movement of the Houston BalletEnsemble through dynamic typography and composition. The final design demonstrated a clear progression from structured typographic experimentation to a sophisticated, image-enhanced layout that balanced form and emotion.
